Developers based in Melton Mowbray have announced a key appointment as they look to grow the business.

SDS Rotherhill Developments, which has offices on the Pera Business Park, in Nottingham Road, has named industry veteran Ed Jeffrey as Development Manager. He joins from commercial agents Savills, where he worked in its Birmingham-based development team, focusing on mixed-use development.

Rotherhill Managing Director Paul Bagshaw said: “I am delighted that Ed is joining the growing team at Rotherhill. His background and experience makes him the ideal candidate to help us remain on target with our growth strategy. He added: We specialise in locating neglected buildings in good locations, as well as developing industrial and warehousing space sub 150,000 sq. ft. Ed’s focus will be on identifying the best opportunities as we seek to match supply with the burgeoning demand in the region.”

Mr Jeffrey said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to work within a very experienced and highly respected team. The team has an excellent track record in delivering results for landowner, investor and occupier clients. Mr Jeffrey added: I am looking forward to developing my current skillset and expertise by identifying development, investment and asset management opportunities in my home region, as well as supporting Rotherhill’s long-term growth strategy.”

Rotherhill Developments moved into Melton Mowbray in July this year after outgrowing its offices in Wymondham. Mr Bagshaw said the move would create jobs.
